WWE put that they were going to go to Oklahoma City in Sept.but then changed it.it was going to be Raw.they said it a couple months ago.have you notice Raw always comes here to OKC.and Smackdown always goes to Tulsa.what my real question is.why does the WWE hardly ever come to Oklahoma City.I am thinking because we dont sell out the Ford Center most the time.Boomer Sooner!!!!!!!
The event in OKC was postponed by the Ford Center which is under renovation. OKC is the size market that WWE will likely play once a year.
Hi JR, I must ask you about your relationship with Paul Heyman. I understand that you and him have never seen to eye to eye as evidence from your commentary with him in 2001 even though I thought you and him worked well together. As I read in Power Slam magazine a couple of months ago, Heyman said that he said and did things to bring out the best in you and then you would rant and rave backstage at him and then would never say a word to him again. What's the history behind it all? Kind Regards
Paul is a great story teller. I have ranted and raved at him without question as have most people who have ever worked with Paul on any level of the wrestling business. Me never saying another word to him isn't accurate. I enjoyed working with Paul and he's one of my favorite broadcast partners of all time. We never had the relationship backstage that many believe as we never always agreed on things but we both have respect for each other and appreciate each other's work. As I said, Paul can embellish with the best of us.
Hi JR, I just got done watching the 'Giants' episode of Legends of Wrestling, another fantastic entry in a great series. I think having you as a guest rather than the host is a far better use of your expansive knowledge of the wrestling business. Any idea on the likelihood of us getting 'stars of the 90s' episodes akin to those done on stars of the 80s? Also, what wrestlers do you think would be 'must-haves' for a series on the 90s?

Hi Mr. Ross, it is a pleasure to be sending you a question from Englands green and pleasent land. I am interested on your thoughts on Nigel McGuiness agreeing a contract with the WWE, which has made pretty big news over here for a wrestling story. I haven't seen too much of him but it appears that he has some great potential. I feel this is a really promising time for the wrestling business in the UK with a large number of stars from these shores in large promotions in the US, obviously we have had some legends such as the British Bulldogs, William Regal and Finlay and others but now we have Paul and Katie Burchill, Drew McIntyre, DJ Gabrial, Layla and Harry Smith (Yes we claim him as one of ours :p) all breaking though in WWE and also the British stable in TNA. Do you think that with these guys coming through that eventually we may see a British world heavyweight champion? Sorry for the long question and I look forward to seeing you and the WWE back in the UK soon. Best Wishes, Andy
If the numbers continue to grow, it seems to be inevitable that there will be a British WWE or World Champ some day.
Hey JR. My Powerslam Special arrived today! I thought the Chipolte Ketchup was great, but good Lord, I could drink the barbecue sauce. BTW I was very impressed with the packaging...the little stuff matters to me. I would love to see Shawn Michaels as Heavyweight Championship again. Do you think that's in the cards?

Hey i have one question! How would you rate The Rock vs Stone cold (Wrestlemania 17)and Shawn michael vs Undertaker(Wrestlemania 25)? Which one better? and which one you prefer????? thanks
I liked them both but WM25 had more significance as an event than did WM17.
Back in the 90's you had given interviews to Golddust and Mankind. Their stock basically skyrocketed after those interviews (Mick Foley even stated that in Have a Nice Day), do you think a similar style interview with say Big Show, or Chavo could do the same. Both are tremendous workers and charasmatic individuals, but seem to be missing one thing.
It certainly might as I enjoy helping talents establish their personas.

This is the last question that I address re: "will there be an event in (fill in the blank) arena any time soon. I DON'T KNOW nor do I have access to the advance schedules. If any one wants to know about a WWE event coming to your area simply contract your local arena. All of them have websites and telephones. Don't mean to be short here but this is a question that doesn't need my attention when it can be easily answered elsewhere from someone who knows the answer.
JR, a % chance question, if I may. It's believed that Sting will retire before the year is out. WWE has always been hugely respectful of Steve Borden and it seems obvious to me that he is well respected in the eyes of those who matter. Given that he will be leaving TNA, a 4 month window could be open before Wrestlemania XXVI. Optimistic as this may be, I think this is the perfect time for Sting to have his final appearance. Shawn Michaels or The Undertaker would be fantastic choices as opponents. He'd get to retire officially in a fantastic match, on the greatest stage. I understand his past reticence about appearing in WWE, but I personally think WWE would be nothing but respectful to his legacy. I always thought (and highly respected him for this) that Steve would be remembered as a WCW original who never left (akin to Undertaker or Shawn) or went to 'the other side' so to speak. But, I do remember hearing that he was agonizingly close to facing Stone Cold at Wrestlemania a fair few years back now. So, I wondered, in your opinion, as I believe a friend of Steve, what would you say the % chance of Sting ever having one last match at Wrestlemania is? - Ben
Honestly, we have worn out the Sting questions and this one has been addressed. I have no answer. Sting is employed with TNA and the what if's are unnecessary to answer. I don't know what Sting's future plans are and he may simply want to finally call it a day now that he's 50 years of age.
