J.R., I wonder if you have had a chance yet to read the just published book, "Chris and Nancy: The True Story of the Benoit Murder Suicide" by Irv Muchnick? and what your thoughts are on it. I'm guessing that Irv must have either interviewed you or tried to for the book. He seems to stick pretty much to the police reports but is pretty pointed in his claims that some people inside the business are in denial about the contributing factors to this tragedy, and that even though it was just over two years ago there are people who want to treat it as some distant memory and not think about it.

Hi JR I just read the posts from the guy who talks about his crappy sign that he held up at a UK show. I'm from the UK and this guy is a complete clown! I have no idea where he is coming from or why he would choose to share his uninformed opinion with the world's wrestling fans. I'm 21 and have never heard another wrestling fan with a bad word to say about your commentary at all. So just to re-assure you (if needed) that this guy is a clown and the UK does not think that JR is over-rated. p.s dont worry about posting this

Hi JR, Glad to say I was able to complete an order online yesterday for a case of sauce, autographed cookbook and several packs of jerky after having credit card issues on the website when trying to order before. I'm looking forward to receiving your product and glad the ordering process went smoothly. I was a big Paul Orndorff fan and wondered if you knew him well and if you have any memories to share about him. I was always curious what injury he sustained that made his one arm atrophy later in his career. I'm guessing nerve damage from a neck or back but wondered if you knew. Thanks, Rob

Thanks for the great order Rob. I signed your book a few days ago sitting in my chair watching a little football. I remember it well. Paul had a neck injury that caused his nerve issues as I recall. He was a legit tough dude who would fight any many at the drop of a hat. Former running back at Tampa during his college years. Fierce competitor and had a hot temper.

Hey, JR! I consider you the greatest announcer of all time honestly. Now, my question is this. Overall, the WWE has changed quite drastically in the past 10 years. The Attitude Era is, although long gone, is still my favorite era, and I was just wondering, do you miss that era? You know, with Austin, Rock, Al Snow, Kane, Undertaker, Triple H, Road Dogg, etc? I just can't seem to let the greatness of that go. Stone Cold still remains the greatest wrestler of all time, if you ask me, and I'm just wondering, do you think that era still reigns supreme? Also, my name is Alex. :)

Alex...I would like to see more time devoted to actual wrestling and less comedy or attempts at comedy. The attitude era was great because it featured physicality and the comedy was seemingly more timely and done by people who were more proficient at it than many are today.

Hi from Scotland JR! Firstly, I hope you continue to feel better. From your blogs and your work in general you seem like a genuinely nice guy so yeah, here's hoping you continue to get better. Now being that I'm from Scotland, personally, I want to see Scottish people do well in sports and whatnot and in WWE there hasn't been any Scottish wrestlers who have made a big impact. I mean, Roddy Piper, while a great talent isn't really Scottish and the Highlanders didn't do much. So, I ask, what do you think of Drew McIntyre? Do you think he has the potential to be a huge 'main event' talent one day? Thanks for your time.

J.R, First off my wishes for a speedy recovery second to answer a previous inquiry as to why the Hogan/Flair match at Wrestlemania 8 never got off the ground according to Hogan's autobiography it had to do with steroid allegations or something to that extent anyways please continue to get healthy so when I watch Wrestlemania 26 I can hear the Vin Scully of wrestling once again. Hey! Santina's "Little B.B.Q. Sauce Man!" (I loved that! It was fun to see you slip and show a rare smile. I'm guessing you try not to laugh on the air.) Well, I got a question that may or may not get an answer, but hey, those are the fun ones. Although it may have been a bit below the radar, I think it would be safe to say TNA is "Coming up." The "Hogan acquisition" seems to have truly cemented the foundation for what someday, could be a formidable adversary to the WWE. There is also a different theme and approach. My theories being stated, I suppose the questions begin. Okay, first, do you agree with my assessment? Next, is there, or does there seem to be a response to TNA in the way WWE handles business or public image, or matches, or superstar line ups, or the stars themselves? Also, and Here is the big one, that I REALLY wanna know...Do you watch TNA?...Keep up with it? And no I don't work for TNA (I'm a doctor and a loyal WWE fan of 25 years) Thanks J.R.

JR hope your feeling better, I have a question for a order I plan to make in late December first I want to tell you how good of a play by play announcer you are, in 2002 when my family and I moved into the current house we live in, we moved in on the weekend of the 2002 King of the Ring which emanated live from the sold out Nationwide arena in Columbus,OH. We only has basic cable the 1st weekend because the family previous two us did not disconnect it before we left and DirecTV wasn't coming to connect our service for another week, however I remember changing it to the PPV channel and all I could do was hear the show and not watch because the screen was black and gray, I listened to the entire broadcast and I sat their listening to it because you JIM ROSS were calling the matches, Cole and Taz also came out that night to take some control of the announcers table(remember the 1st couple of PPV's after the brand extension you and King were the only 2 commentators)I just want to say because of your announcing I was imagining everything in my head, as soon as the DVD came out I sure as hell purchased it and watch it. Great show, you are great Mr. Ross and if I ever go blind I will be listening to the product if you are calling the matches, thanks, now for my BBQ question, I plan to order the 12 cases free shipping package in late December, I would like to do half and half, I want to do 6 B-B-Q bottles and 6 Chipolte Ketchup bottles, do you allow that and if so how can I order it, I love the Hot B-B-Q but I can't live W/O the Ketchup and the original B-B-Q, my nephew who is going to turn 6 in December can't live without the ketchup as he eats for everything and keeps telling me that we are almost out, thank you and please get back to me with this, thank you.
