Hi JR! I just wanted your opinion on Festus, (is he too stuck in his own ring persona?), and Kofi Kingston, I love them! Do you see Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar(hence my nickname) returning to the WWE anytime in the future? By the way, I love the Vintage Collection series!
I think Festus has a marketable upside largely because of his size and natural athleticism. Jesse and Festus seem to have become much more popular than many predicted. Kofi, like Festus, has potential and is evolving and one will be able to tell much more about each man's potential as they get more experience and TV time. Regarding Lesnar and Angle, I suggest we use the tried and true wrestling axiom of "never say never" but in these two's case I would invoke the late Gorilla Monsoon and say, "Highly Unlikely."
Hello J.R. I think it would be great to see another faction. Definitly on RAW or Smackdown. I think it's long over due. CTC would do great to have another member. What are your thoughts on factions? Also if you had to pick. Which faction would you choose as your favorite all time? Thank you for your time.
I like factions if they make sense and are assembled organically and are not simply various and sundry parts put together to give dormat wrestlers something to do. I really enjoyed the work for the various incarnations of the 4 Horsemen and I liked DX as well. Some of the Gary Hart's Army days were good too. General Scandar Akbar's Devastation, Inc had its moments too.
JR...I've been meaning to post this for a while, just to see what your input would be. It was recently announced that the legendary Philadelphia Spectrum will be torn down in 2009. The Flyers and Sixers both have games scheduled, during the upcoming seasons. Do you think the higher ups in the WWE have considered holding an event there? Considering all the pro wrestling history the building has I would think one last event would be appropriate. Also every time my friend and I sit inside Licoln Financial Field for an Eagles game...we can't help but think how cool it would be for the WWE to hold an event there. Why not a July 4th show? WWE in the Birthplace of our Nation on July 4th inside a 65k+ Stadium, it's nice to imagine.
"Imagine all the people"....my apologies to the late, Beatle John Lennon. I am not a major proponent of promoting major, outdoor events for the obvious reasons, weather issues. The Spectrum holds a great deal of wrestling history but my sense of the matter is that these memories will continue to live on WWE 24/7 and not a swan song in The Spectrum. There is nothing wrong with your sugggestion nonetheless.
We always hear people talking about the toughest wrestlers or shooters in the history of pro wrestling, in fact i think a few years ago you guys did a legends roundtable about it on 24/7, but i really want to know who in your opinion who is the biggest coward in wrestling history?, you know, a complete cream puff who could not fight their way out of a paper bag, The Honky Tonk Man has my vote
Why in the blue hell would you want to know this info even if there was a definative answer. The lack of fighting abilitiy doesn't make one a coward. Most bullies are essentially cowards when one gets right down to it. For the record, the Honky Tonk Man is not a coward whatsoever.
Mr. Ross, can you shed any light on why the Randy Savage DVD was pulled from production? I grew up as a fan, and being 26 years old, my oldest wrestling memory is Wrestlemania 3 where he and Steamboat stole the show. I became a fan of his immediately and up until his days in WCW. Thank you for your time and keep up the great work.
Nope. The Savage matter has been addressed here extensively in the past. I suggest we move on as I don't have an answer that will satisfy any Macho Man fan. I can tell you that some old Savage-Lawler matches from back in the day were damn good.

More collegefootball than pro but in the pro's I follow the NFL as the CFL isn't widely televised here in Oklahoma that I am aware.
Hi JR, do you think Randy Couture (16-8) has any chance against Fedor Emelianenko (28-1) ? I think Chuck Liddell vs. Fedor would be much more intriguing ... Or Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor. Although Lesnar's been already defeated, nobody could give him a beating yet.
If Couture is healthy, focused and trains as he has done for many big fights he has a chance against anyone. With that said, the chances of Couture winning were much greater when he was younger than they likely are today. I would love to see the fight sooner than later as Couture's fans should as well. My answer is yes but Randy would be the heavy underdog.

I'm sure the fans who will have travelled from all over the world, would love to try your food as they most likely will not get an opportunity to visit one of your restaurant in Oklahoma.</p>

What up J.R.! I got a question about Wrestlemania 24 on My Network TV. Will this be a one hour special or will the entire event air? By the way I've been watching for over 25 glorius years and next to Mr. Solie, you're the best ever!
Solie was indeed the best ever, I agree. I assume the special of which you speak will be a one hour presentation but I have not heard for sure. I certainly do not see the entire, near 4 hour event airing.
I've noticed that Indianapolis has been hot for WWE PPV the last couple of years. I remember the GAB was there and Summerslam was host this past week. JR, I don't know if you noticed, but there is a beautiful new Stadium that will be home to the Colts and several other events opening soon. What are the chances of Lucus Oil Stadium hosting a future Wrestlemania? If I were Indianapolis I would love WM in 2012...why, can you imagine the Super bowl in January and WM in March/April...What do you think?
Interesting idea but the promoter in me says having a Wrestlemania the same year a city hosts a Super Bowl might not be best for 'Mania. Nonethless, A Wrestlemania in Indy at the new stadium some day is intriging.
