This is a rare and vintage shot of “Mr. Cowboy” himself Steve Austin.

This is a rare and vintage shot of “Mr. Cowboy” himself Steve Austin.

Photo was taken when Steve was training with Gentleman Chris Adams in Dallas during Steve had just finished playing two years of football for the North Texas State Mean Green at defensive end and was working on the freight docks while putting together enough money to pay for his wrestling training. Steve doesn’t have to worry about money these days and the budding film star looks to make the same impact on the silver screen as he did in the squared circle. Steve is like family around the Ross household and through the years we have been through a great deal together. When my time on earth has passed, I fully expect my friend Steve Austin to deliver my eulogy. That’s real friendship and in the wrestling business it is rare…unfortunately.
