JR's Raw Thoughts..Great Savings now for the Holidays on JR's Products at WWEShop.com

Another great day in Oklahoma as we Okies are looking forward to Bedlam this Saturday when Oklahoma State comes to Norman to tangle with the Oklahoma Sooners. Add Thanksgiving to that mix and it's a memorable week. Raw thoughts....

Raw thoughts from my La-Z-Boy...

Show closing segment.... @HeymanHustle promo/intro for @CMPunk was stellar. @Ryback22 interrupt shut Punk's promo down but the actions of the 'NXT in Black Boys' stood out. I lembrace their aggression and physicality directed at Ryback who took a helluva beating. Watch again in slo-mo if you think I'm embellishing. The three men comprised of @TheDeanAmbrose @RomanReigns  and @WWWERollins did not become cannon fodder for the leviathan Ryback plus they kept a discernable level of mystique as their motives weren't revealed nor did we hear them speak as of yet. All good in carving out an episodic TV storyline. The closing scene of Punk standing over the wounded Ryback was on target.

BTW...Heyman mentioning Bruno Sammartino was cool. Any discussion about the WWE Title can't realistically take place without mentioning Bruno. I'd love to see Bruno inducted in the WWE HOF in 2013 in his house, Madison Square Garden, along with Bob Backlund, Mick Foley, among others that are very deserving.

What about Lawrence Taylor or Regis Philbin for the honorary, "Celeb Wing' for the annual soiree to be held this year in MSG? Let the debate and speculation begin.

RAW seemed more in-ring heavy Monday night than usual which I enjoyed.

Good outing for Wade Barrett who's making great strides plus I'm a fan of a more aggressive Kofi Kingston who needs to leave his natural, mannerly personality in the locker room.

It seems as though, albeit slowly, that both the IC and US Titles are slowing building needed equity. I feel that it's important for both championships to continue to be re-positioned and it seems as that is occurring. I'd like to see them both have additional meaning come WM29.

Great marketing/promotion for WWE to be on the E's 'The Soup' Wednesday night. Along with @chelseahandler, Soup is E's top show. Nice cross promotion and exposure. My wife rarely misses this show and we've already set our DVR for Wednesday evening.

I hope that WWE will bring the 2X3 Falls match out of mothballs more often. Not every week but perhaps once every 4-6 weeks or as the needs calls for the tried and true bout. It's an easy story for the announcers to tell and for the viewer to follow.

Ricardo Rodriguez is arguably one of the most underrated talents in WWE.

@HEELZiggler had massive night both Sunday at Survivor Series and Monday on RAW. I'm going to enjoy Ziggler's personal issue with @JohnCena. Cena, arguably, hasn't been in the ring with anyone that's more athletic than Dolph in John's career.

Who's the most under utilized tag team in WWE? For my BBQ Sauce, that would be Primo and Epico. Khali dancing ranks right up there  with @MichaelCole and yours truly. Bowling shoe ugly.

I enjoyed the Prime Time Players verbal interaction with Cole and @JerryLawler Monday night. The idea is to get noticed and to stand out and I feel that O'Neil and Young did exactly that. Great example of maximizing one's minutes.

Nice follow up on Sheamus and Big Show's issue which has seen the two of them beat the hell out of one another. These two guys wrestle at a processable pace and have created their own form of 'Bedlam' in the past two PPV's.

@TaminaSnuka was impactful Sunday night and I thought she was striking while standing next to Vickie Guerrero on Raw in the AJ scene. Big time look from a legit, physical lady.

How 'over' is @WWEDanielBryan? Arguably the best, pure wrestler on the roster. He's reinvented himself as it relates to non wrestling matters while his bell to bell work is still impeccable.

It feels like positive changes are in play in WWE in what feels to be a definite, transitional period. There's nothing wrong with being in a transitional period by the way. Lots of talent who have been groomed for main event opportunities are now being placed in the 'on deck circle' or so it seems. Their own, personal desire to take the next step isn't all about WWE but, more often than not, the people that these individuals see in the mirror. By refusing to accept mediocrity and pushing, pulling, scratching and clawing through the clutter one increases their odds of making it. Granted the odds of becoming a bona fide main event performer in WWE are long to begin with but diligence and working through adversity (I know of what I speak on this one) greatly increases one's chances for success. I'd almost compare today's WWE to a major college athletic team or a pro franchise who is rebuilding around young, talented athletes, plus a few incumbents, who need to continue to push themselves in all phases of their game and not settle. Athletes who reside in their insulated 'nests' IE their comfort zones are problems that must be either solved or eliminated.

This transition is a long term fix but if the course is steered week in and week out the results will be the development of several talents who can add 'new' to  broadcast and live event presentations.
