jakefromstatefarm_116 Asks: Which one of your sauces and seasoning you recommend would work well on a New York Strip steak? Just recently started grilling on my new Big Green Egg.
Straight up...our All Purpose Seasoning is amazing on any thing, protein or veggies, on your grill or in your kitchen. You will love it.
Hotty Toddy Asks: Hello, JR. Kind of a sensitive subject but I just wanna ask if you don't mind, where were you and what were you doing on April 19, 1995 during the Oklahoma City Bombing? A very sad moment that day. Thank you.
I believe I was at work in WWE Stamford offices. Not 100% sure.
jakefromstatefarm_116 Asks: For the past sixty years, there would not be a week without a Goodson-Todman game show. Did you have a favorite Goodson-Todman game show growing up? My favorites are Family Feud and Match Game. We certainly need great TV producers like Mark Goodson and Bill Todman, don't you think?
I'm a Family Feud guy to this very day. Love Steve Harvey.
MariahCareyLover Asks: Hey JR. What did you think of the tv show All In The Family?
Ahead of it's time.
dodgerman Asks: Hi J.R. Now that AJ Styles in not World Champ, do you see him wining the title again or any title? Or is his job to help younger talent get over.
An idea for WWE. They should have the world champion have to defend it against the champion of the other brand,ie, Bray Wyatt defending against the Raw champion. They could do this every 60 or 90 days. It would create a rivalry between brands.
Titles aren't the be all and end all by any measure but AJ will definitely be a champion again, likely many times over.
Boomer Sooner Asks: JR we noticed that Jerry Lawler just opened his own BBQ restaurant in the Memphis area and his selling his own "Kings's Rub" Now surely neither Lawler's rub nor his bbq can compare to yours! Any chance they might stock JR's products in the King's new place?
Highly unikely as he wants to brand his own products. I don;t blame him.
Ahmed Chowdhury Asks: My friend wants to know "Hey Jim Ross so you mentioned a lot about your love for BBQ cook out. Have you ever received an invitation from "Food Network" to appear on their show"? "And do you make your own BBQ sauces or you like to purchase them"?
I've never been on the Food Network that I recall and our products are available at www.wweshop.com.
Ahmed Chowdhury Asks: In what season do you like to cook BBQ. Is it spring, summer, fall, or winter, or you like to cook BBQ all year long? Thanks.
We grill outside the year round except when it is raining.
ProfBrad12 Asks: JR, my job is going to take me to Oklahoma City for the first time in my life. Without giving any free advertising, do you have any "insider" recommendations for must-visit restaurants, bars, neighborhoods, etc? Thanks, as always!
You can;t go wrong with any of the Hal Smith Restaurant Group eateries including Toby Keith's and Legends Grill which is next door. Mahogany Steakhouse, etc. Plus, the Cattleman's Steakhouse in the historic OKC Stockyards area is a must. The downtown/Bricktown area is viable too for bars, etc including Mickey Mantle's steakhouse which is quite good comparable to Mahogany.
caseypelsinger Asks: JR.. I have been of the Q&As for a while, so I'm doing some catching up. But I'm curious... What made you settle in Norman? Certainly nothing against Norman. Oklahoma is a great state. One of the better ones IMO. It just seems with the extent of your backstage involvement, and with WCW being out of Georgia and WWE out of Connecticut, it wouldn't have been an ideal location during most of your career.
I enjoyed living in ATL and in Connecticut but it was time to come home and enjoy the fruits of 40+ years of labor/work. My job description changed which allowed me to live where i wanted.
