• Boomer Sooner Asks: JR, losing to Iowa State at home was heartbreaking and seeing them plant an Iowa state flag on our 50 yard line was a disgrace! We think part of the problem was Bob Stoops wasn't at the game, he was on a recruiting trip with his son. The team wasn't used to him not being there and Riley doesn't have the locker room yet. You would never see a Stoops defense give up 25 points in the second half in Norman to any Cyclones team! This season is ruined!
      J.R.'s Answer:

Flag planting doesn't happen when the home team wins. End of story.

    • seminara Asks: Good evening, Jim! Was curious to know, how do you think 80's Bobby Heenan would have fared as a manager in today's WWE? I know that with the exception of Heyman, managers haven't been used in WWE in years.
      J.R.'s Answer:

Excluding Paul Heyman, there;s not a better talker in the biz than Bobby Heenan and he would have killed on global TV without question. His timing is timeless.

    • the tennessee stud Asks: JR, Jerry Lawler was talking about Lance Russell on his podcast. He says Lance deserved/deserves to be in the WWE HOF. Even being in one territory he influenced a lot of wrestling broadcasters. It seems to me it would be a nice thing for Lance's family to see him honored and get a ring posthumously next year. Wouldn't you agree Lance is deserving of one?
      J.R.'s Answer:

Lance Russell absolutely belongs in every pro wrestling hall of fame in existence.

    • MariahCareyLover Asks: Hey JR With WWE Bringing War Games back at The Next NXT Takeover being you and not in WWE of course do you think the results of this match will affect them using it again? What I mean is seeing the 2 teams I see it being a painful to watch train wreck because of styles clashing Like the Ultimate Warrior Hercules Hernandez matches. If that ends up being the case and they stink up Houston do you think that is it for War Games or it doesn't matter?
      J.R.'s Answer:

I'm anxious to watch War Games in Houston. We all need to allow it to play out before we start tearing it apart, not that you are.

    • mattdestasio Asks: A lot of fans are torn on Brock Lesnar’s title reign right now. Do you think it’s helping the overall product to have the title reserved for only big events, or is it taking away from the product having the champion work such a limited schedule?
      J.R.'s Answer:

Lesnar is the biggest sta in WWE so it makes sense for  him to be positioned where he is.

      J.R.'s Answer:

We are hopeful of such and are working on that now.

    • Boomer Sooner Asks: JR, we read an interview where Ric Flair is now promising to be sober and admits to regularly drinking 20 drinks a day during his career. Heard some criticism on Twitter that maybe some of his friends in the wresting business 'enabled him' over the years, i.e. encouraged him to drink and didn't get him to confront his alcoholism. You drank with him many times. Do you feel like you were an enabler even if of course you didn't mean to be? Do you think he can actually be sober at this point in his life? Seeing Naitch at an AA meeting would be like seeing JR at a Longhorns Booster Club event! Hope he can stay on the wagon!
      J.R.'s Answer:

The thought that people enabled Ric is ridiculous IMO.  Ric enabled Ric. Ric can and is addressing his issues. I for one hope he succeeds.

    • Jackson1256 Asks: Was Bobby Heenan a guy who kept up with what was going on in other promotions? Did he know your work from WCW when you came to WWE? Did you ever try to get him to come back full-time after WCW closed in 2001?
      J.R.'s Answer:

Bobby casually kept up with the other wrestling companies but wasn't obsessed with what they were doing.
